  4. Das Programm Freitag 3. Mai 2002: Letzte Vorbereitungen Reise Apéro und Info Opening Ceremony Teambuilding Activities Ansprache Gerold Bührer (FDP) Swissvillage Presentations Für Details siehe Unterlagen!

  5. Swiss Village Alle Delegationen bringen Speisen, Getränke und Bilder aus der Region mit und präsentieren diese an einem Stand möglichst überzeugend. Die Delegation Münchenstein hatte wie zuvor einen attraktiven Stand mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Mit einem Beamer projezierten wir Bilder der Schule und Umgebung. Verantwortlich waren Michel Hochstrasser und Sarah Brown, die alles in ihrer Freizeit vorbereiteten.

  6. Presentation Jede Delegation muss sich im Plenum vorstellen. Kreativität und Humor, aber auch politische Botschaften sollen dabei im Vordergrund stehen. Zeitlimite ist 8 Minuten.

  7. Waldsterben Presentation Die Delegation Münchenstein hat das Thema Verkehrspolitik in ihre Präsentation einfliessen lassen. Die SchülerInnen waren Autos, trugen Nummernschilder am Rücken und fuhren zu Strassenlärm von einer eigens hergestellten Cd auf der Bühne herum. Nach einem Stau am Gotthard wurden alle auf die Bahn verladen, wobei die Nummernschilder das Wort Münchenstein ergaben. Vorbereitung: Laura, Céline, Sandra und Melanie.

  8. Swiss Concert Die Delegationen gestalten ihr eigenes Abendprogramm und bereiten eine musikalische Darbietung vor. Vorbereitung: Yannick und Daniel....

  9. Teil 2:Das Kerngeschäft

  10. Thema 1: Public Health. The Question of human cloning VorbereitungJeder Delegation werden 4 Themen zugeteilt, die sie im Vorfeld der Veranstaltung vorbereiten muss. Eines davon wird ihr dann an der Session zur detaillierten Bearbeitung zugewiesen.Vorbereitung: Marco Lüthi (vergl. Dossiers in den Unterlagen) • Thema 2: Internal Affairs. The political divide after the UN referendum • Thema 3: Social Affairs. The future of the social insurance system • Thema 4: Legal Affairs. The new immigration law

  12. Die Resolution Jede Delegation bearbeitet während des ganzen Tages ihre Resolution. Diese wird in Introductory und Operative Clauses aufgeteilt. Entscheidend bei dieser Arbeit ist Teamfähigkeit, Respekt, Toleranz aber auch der Mut, seine Meinung zu vertreten. Die Jury beobachtet die Delegationen während des ganzen Tages. Sprache ist ab sofort Englisch oder Französisch.

  14. ResolutionOperative Clauses • ... Declares that the artifical reproduction of human beings should be prohibited; • ... Promotes the use of cloning technologies for medical reasons; • ...Emphasizes that if the cloning of embryos is permitted, society will have to set limits that define how far scientists will be allowed to go; • ...Strongly recommends the establishment of the „International Ethics Commission“ in charge of controlling human cloning; • ...Affirms that a compromise between scientific progress and individual human rights could be to use adult parent cells instead of embryo parent cells; • ...Expresses concerns about the possible misuse of human cloning for economic purposes.

  16. General Assembly Es bestehen Kleidervor-schriften. Jede Delegation trägt zuerst ihre Operative Clauses vor.... Die Resolutionen der Delegationen werden nacheinander beraten. Alles läuft strikte nach Protokoll ab. Sarah

  17. Der Präsident aus Schottland versteht kein Französisch Dann wird eine Defence Speech vorgetragen. Es gilt die Delegierten zu überzeugen. Zeit genau 3 Minuten...... Sandra

  18. Nach der Debatte wird eine Sum up Speech gehalten. Hier können letzte Bemerkungen angebracht und Bedenken zerstreut werden. Zeit: Wiederum 3 Minuten.... Daniel und Marco

  19. Während der Debatte der Resolutionen der anderen Committees kann eine Attack Speech vorgetragen werden. Eine gute Gelegenheit sich zu profilieren.... Marco

  20. Unsere Resolution wurde von der General Assembly angenommen!

  21. Die Jury beobachtet die Delegationen während des ganzen Wochenendes. Am Schluss wird der Entscheid bekannt gegeben....
