  2. Angels • Mentioned 294 times in the Bible • Sadducees denied - Pharisees believed in angels - Acts 23:8 The word angel is applied in the Bible to an order of heavenly messengers whose duty is to serve God in Heaven and to aid and defend men on earth

  3. How do angels and the Holy Spirit work together or are they separate entities? Angels are messengers of God They carry out the commands of God The Holy Spirit is a part of the Godhead It guided the Apostles into all truth - Jn. 16:13 Got the prospect and the preacher together Gave the Message Conversion of the Eunuch - Acts 8:26-40 v. 26 - Angel of the Lord v. 29 - The Spirit v. 39 - The Spirit

Will we ever see an angel ? • No evidence from the Bible that an angel will appear to men on earth to give a message from God. • We already have the complete revelation from God • - 2 Tim. 3:16-17 All Scripture • Gal. 1:8 “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.”

  16. Why did God give such power to Satan ? • Why do some men have so much power ? • Power of choice - made the wrong choice • Devil created as a good being (Gen. 1:31) - but made the wrong choice and became evil • Used to test and purify a people for heaven !
