Looking to Set Up Business in The UK as A Non-Resident? Consider Which Visas You Require

The business sector in the UK is continuously flourishing, and the SMEs are particularly those who seem to be making much of the progress. According to a report, in 2017 the SMEs account for over 99% of the total 5.7 million private business sector, employing over 16 million people. These figures certainly give us some indication why many foreign businesses are looking for a way to set up their business in the UK.

Alfred James & Co Solicitors LLP
https://www.alfred-james.com/

 2. Although setting up businesses in the UK as non-residents can pose many challenges, it also offers many opportunities and advantages to reach over millions of potential customers, and build a path towards global success. Consider your visa requirement and let the experts at Alfred James & Co Solicitors LLP help you obtain it. Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa The Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa allows non-UK residents to set up a private business or take over an already existing business in the UK, either entirely or as partners. You are required to have funds available between £50,000 and £200,000 for investment in order to enter the UK through this visa category. Generally, the turnaround time takes about three weeks or less. However, it is recommended that you apply for your visa three months ahead of your travel. This visa will stay valid for 3 years and 4 months (maximum). If you want to prolong your stay, you can apply for an extension for another 2 years. Graduate Entrepreneur Visas As the name suggests, the graduate entrepreneur visa is designed for graduates. This visa is issued to those graduates who are officially endorsed for having credible entrepreneurial skills and brilliant business ideas and are invited to establish their business in the UK. The turnaround time will depend on the nature of the endorsement. If the candidates have been endorsed by the Department for International Trade (DIT), it will take about 3 weeks, and if it’s through the UK higher education institution (HEI), it will take about 8 weeks to get the decision. The graduate entrepreneur visa will be valid for just one year but can be extended for an additional year upon request.
