Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa The Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa allows non-UK residents to set up a private business or take over an already existing business in the UK, either entirely or as partners. You are required to have funds available between £50,000 and £200,000 for investment in order to enter the UK through this visa category. Generally, the turnaround time takes about three weeks or less. However, it is recommended that you apply for your visa three months ahead of your travel. This visa will stay valid for 3 years and 4 months (maximum). If you want to prolong your stay, you can apply for an extension for another 2 years.
