Infrastructure Assistance Capital Investment IncentiveThe Capital Investment Incentive program provides grants to fund electric and natural gas improvements on National Grid owned or required natural gas and electric infrastructure for certain businesses projects that involve major capital investment in plant and equipment.

Infrastructure Assistance Capital Investment Incentive • Grant amounts are determined based on the total capital investment being made in plant & equipment (including energy and non-energy related investments) as follows: Total Capital InvestmentAvailable Funding* • $100,000 to $1 Million $50,000 • $1 Million to $5 Million $100,000 • $5 Million to $50 Million $250,000 • $50 Million and above $500,000

Productivity Improvement Manufacturing Productivity Program • National Grid is working in conjunction with the Regional Technology Development Centers to offer Manufacturing Productivity Program (MPP) Grants to eligible customers. • Eligible projects are Lean Manufacturing projects or other manufacturing assistance projects that will result in the elimination of waste and increased productivity. • The program will provide matching grants of up to $15,000 or 40% (whichever is less) of the costs incurred by eligible applicants.

Productivity Improvement Manufacturing Productivity Program • Further, this program provides matching grants of up to $15,000 or 50% (whichever is less) of the costs incurred by eligible applicants whose top management commits the time and resources to growth targeted activities that will result in greater utilization of manufacturing capacity. • Finally, the program provides matching grants up to $40,000 or 60% (whichever is less) of the cost incurred by eligible applicants to combine projects that will combine both productivity and growth activities described above.

Productivity Improvement Manufacturing Productivity Program Applications for the matching grants must meet the following program requirements • Be a National Grid electric customer in good standing • Be a business with a NAICS code 31,32, or 33 • Execute an agreement that commits top management to the process that results in the productivity and development improvements articulated in this program description • The company must provide a minimum of 25% of the total funding from its own capital

Productivity Improvement Power Quality Enhancement Program • This PQE Program offers financial incentives to qualified customers for the installation of power quality mitigation equipment and controls. • Qualifying applicants must demonstrate their facility has a power quality problem that results in production, operational, or quality constraints, including but not limited to downtime and outage costs.

Productivity Improvement Power Quality Enhancement Program • National Grid Service Classification 3, 3A and 4 customer. • Be classified in the North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) as one of the following industry sectors: ● Manufacturing ● Research and development ● Health Care Sectors
