CDG IR Team Dec 2004 International Roaming Testing Introduction • CDMA form of IREG Testing presented at IRT in Miami, September. • Attendees asked to take document back for assessment/review by relevant groups in their organization • Sprint PCS volunteered at last IRT to be involved in the effort and has extensively reviewed the document • Goal: • Assess how to best steer the document for broad use as an IR testing document

CDG IR Team Dec 2004 International Roaming Testing Proposed Changes • Demote narrative procedures to appendix • Promote appendix to main body/ • Main body of document should be tabular form test plan and results • Add tests to cover system acquisition and time to acquire • Verification of PRL operation

  4. CDG IR Team Dec 2004 International Roaming Testing Proposed Changes – Origination • Roamer to Local wire-line • Roamer to local mobile • Roamer to non-home international destination • Roamer to local emergency service • Roamer to home network non-roaming mobile
