  3. Trip Overview Think about it – an incredible 2 days of walking across the spectacular main range, with Australia’s only mainland glacial lakes as your backdrop. A challenging 50km hike, bagging the top 10 peaks in Australia as well as visiting all 5 of the remaining glacial lakes....2 days of trekking fun and gorgeous alpine scenery all in your own back yard. They are experienced in leading treks in the Snowy Mountain regions and it’s their experience and local knowledge that makes the Aussie 10 Peaks such an amazing adventure. • About your Guide: • Your leader for this trip is Glenn Azar. • Your trek leader for this trek is Glenn Azar, who is the director of Adventure Professionals. Glenn has been operating in the outdoors for many years in both Australia and overseas as both a guide and a medic. He spent 17 years in the army where he specialised in Aero Medical Evacuation, qualified as a medic and then completed his nursing degree. One his specialties is in adventure travel and he has spent time running expeditions in Papua New Guinea, Nepal, Malaysia and Africa.

  6. Am I up to this? Trekking in Kosciuszko National Park need not be a risky proposition, even if there is snow. Follow our proven training program, speak with our staff regularly to guide you through the preparation phase and you are well on your way to succeeding in this adventure. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is an easy trek and not preparing well. Prepare well, train well and you will find the adventure easy and enjoyable.
