  1. Spelling Monday • Pre-Test • Correct Words by using your textbook. • Write spelling words spelt incorrectly on pre-test correctly 5 times under your pre-test. • Write your spelling words in your agenda. Leave agenda open on corner of desk. When done study, pick more questions of your choice out of the textbook or silently read.

  2. Spelling Tuesday • Use all your spelling words in sentences to show you know what they mean. Make sure you are using proper puntuation (capitals, periods, commas etc.) • For example: • You need to boil the water in the pot before you put the macaroni in. • When done study, pick more questions of your choice out of the textbook or silently read.

  3. Spelling Wednesday • Rewrite all of your spelling words and underline the spelling pattern. • Put all of your spelling words in alphabetical order. • Rewrite your spelling words and underline the letters you need to focus on (what part of the word is giving you trouble or if you were to spell the word wrong on the test what part of the word might you spell wrong). • When done study, pick more questions of your choice out of the textbook or silently read.

  4. Spelling Thursday • Rewrite all of your spelling words and make a word print around the word. • Separate your spelling words into syllables use a pencil or a pencil crayon for the dashes inbetween the syllable. • Example: rain-bow can-dle • When done study, pick more questions of your choice out of the textbook or silently read.

  5. Spelling Friday • Spelling Test!
