  2. Invention Setting

  3. The cell phone • Who: The inventor:Martin Cooper. • What: The first cellular phone to be invented (The DynaTAC) • When: 1973 • Where: New York, U.S.A. • Why: To increase communications between people in a faster form. • How: It took him 3 years and 10 months to start the prototype and perfect it to where the portable phone could go on sale as soon as possible.

  4. The way it had a negative outcome

  5. The way it had a negative outcome • Although the cell phone had many improvements on society, there were quite a few negative outcomes. First, people started becoming obsessive with their phones. This caused the lack of common communications between people. Later this also caused a conversation being just texts without person to person contact. It also caused wreckage in driving, risking many lives. Lastly, it caused lack of physical exercise and obesity.

  6. The way it helped society

  7. The way it helped society • Even though there were all of those negativities, there are many more positive effects. This causes efficiency in time and organization. Also many people have found their way after getting lost or even saved their own lives using simple apps. Any life saved is possibly a new invention, or maybe even a future president. You never know.

  8. The way it changed throughout the ages

  9. The way it changed throughout the ages • The simple phone that was first invented is very, very different than the phones that we have today. There were so many technological advancements that sometimes the human population doesn’t know whether to think of that as a good thing or a bad thing. I personally believe that an added camera and games are a good thing for our society, but when it is taken to a harsh level it can turn into a bad thing.

  10. Conclusion

  11. conclusion • In conclusion, I believe that the cell phone was a very successful product. It helped with communication, capturing memories, telling time and all sorts of interesting, helpful ideas. When it is taken to an obsessive level though, it can bring harsh consequences.
