  1. The US 101 Mobility Study will - • Examine current and future conditions, identify key deficiency areas and propose multi-modal improvement packages along the US 101 Corridor. • Evaluate the performance of the multi-modal improvement packages using appropriate performance measures. • With stakeholder and public involvement, establish regional priorities for multi-modal improvements for the US 101 Corridor in San Luis Obispo County. • Establish regional funding priorities that meets the needs of SLOCOG, the local agencies, and Caltrans.

  2. Project Area • The US 101 Corridor - as defined for this study - includes: • the US 101 mainline and interchanges; • interface with local service roads; parallel frontage roads or other roadways that serve as viable alternatives to US 101; • transit facilities such as park-and-ride lots; • and, bicycle and pedestrian network connections.
