Adjustments to FPL income guidelines • Clarification from CMS has resulted in recalculation of some of the FPL figures used for eligibility determination • These changes are already implemented for CommCare eligibility, re-determination, and premium calculation processes • Necessary to revise the affordability schedule to align with income eligibility guidelines for individuals and couples

  3. Adjustments to Affordability Schedule • Relatively small changes ($12 or $24) • Correspond to the upper income brackets at 150%, 200%, 250%, and 300% FPL • No changes necessary below 150% or above 300% FPL • No changes necessary in the affordability schedule for families

  4. Adjustments to Affordability Schedule - Individuals • As a result of this change, for example, an individual with income between $16,249 and $16,260 would newly be required to pay $39, instead of $0.
