Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Sexual Health Network Board Membership Genito-Urinary Medicine Consultants (4 sectors) Family Planning Leads for each sector PCT Leads for each sector Beds and Herts HPA Director SHA Lead for Sexual Health Services Senior Nurse / Health Advisor for each sector Primary Care Representatives Patient Representatives

Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Sexual Health Network Board Structure Chair: Dr P Munday Vice Chair: Dr T Balachandran Secretary: Dr S Uthayakumar All other groups should have a lead or chair and secretary and membership should be by mutual agreement. Proposed timing and frequency of meetings. Meeting in the evenings every 2-3 months initially to get various groups up and running but hopefully the main board need to meet every four to six monthly if rest of the network is running smoothly.

Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Sexual Health Network Proposed Terms of Reference The Network will provide strategic overview of sexual health services (SHS) in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire The Network will provide professional expertise in sexual health to PCTs and the SHA The Network will provide a framework for Clinical Governance activities in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire The Network will provide a framework for research activity in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire The Network will provide a forum to engage all Stakeholders, including patient groups and representatives The Network will, through its sector groups, provide local leadership for sexual health services, establishing a. Care pathways b. Clinical and Managerial Protocols c. Education and Training d. Expert advice 7. The Network will, through its professional groups provide a. Professional support b. Training c. Expert advice d. Liaison with National bodies
