What is MyUB? • Built in-house(Oracle, Cold-Fusion, Perl, XML, RSS) • Integratedwith back-end systems • Team Project w/ many partners & stakeholders • 2,000 resources, 660 “virtual thoughts” +++ • critical announcements • academic tools • links to campus services & resources • news, events, & sports feeds • Time-based & fine-grained delivery

  6. Penetration • Rolled out to students -- Fall ’00/’01 • 93% of undergraduates used MyUB (of 18,000) • 70% of graduate students (of 7,400) • 62% of professional students (of 2,000)

  10. MyUB Student Survey Results • 89% graded MyUB good to excellent • 37% used everyday (34% a few times a week) • 98% felt contained useful information • 41% easy to find information (54% satisfactory) Spring 2004 user survey (12,000 students)
