  3. Spanish speakers don’t often use subject pronounsbecause the verb ending usually indicates the subject. However, the pronoun may be used to clarify or emphasize the subject. Yoiré al concierto, no Paco. ¡Tútienes que hacerlo! Pronouns

  4. Pronouns used after prepositions such as a, de, and para are known as objects of prepositions. They have the same form as subject pronouns, except for míand ti, which are used instead of yoand tú. These pronouns join con to form conmigoand contigo. Pronouns Carlos me habló de usted. ¿Tienes un regalo para mí?

  5. Direct objectsreceive the action of the verb. Indirect objectsusually stand for people who receive the direct object or who experience the action of the verb. Before lo(s)and la(s),le(s)changes to se. Mi hermano compró un boletoextra y seloregaló a su noviaen vez de a mí. Meparece injusto. Pronouns
