Rationale • Currently using paper based system • Does not allow for individuals moving across locations / organisations across Wales • Does not enable ready access to individuals records • Monitoring of local and national activity may be complex and time-consuming • National system will facilitate accurate recording of all activity including training, supply and resupply for each individual

  3. Naloxone element of Harm Reduction Database (HRD) • Enables registration of individuals (one record over time) • Enables instant record of: • Contact details (for annual training, batch recall, resupply following expiry) • Training records • Referral records • Additional health needs and risk • Report writing on activity • Report writing for re-contact
