  2. Task 1. Product demo at Acme Location Time Event Brochure of the last version of the product. 10 am Office Slides for demo • Mike will give a product demostration for Acme Ltd on Friday morning 9.30 am, and he is preparing an introduction with PowerPoint slides. Earlier this morning, he had taken a previous slide show version of the product as a basis for the new one, and now he is updating the material. While editing, he hears the sound of incoming mail, and skims it through; it is about company training. He clicks an URL of the courses given in the message, spends a couple of minutes looking at courses in the web, and returns to his slides. About ten minutes after the mail, he is interrupted by a phone call from his friend, Susan, who tells about a concert and asks if he wants to join her. • At 10.30 am, Jenny Moran from Acme Ltd calls him and tells that Friday’s product demo should be given earlier than planned, due to changed flight schedules of one of their managers. They agree on 8.30 am. • After the meeting, Karen, the product manager, comes to the Mike’s room to talk about the Acme demo. Their discussion is interrupted by a colleague who calls Mike to ask if he is interested in a company training session for Requirements analysis. Karen leaves, because they had already finished the Acme case. • In the afternoon, while editing slides, he receives an email from Susan, who gives more information about the concert. He reads it through but returns quickly to the slides. 3. Task 2. Company training Location Time Event 10 am Office Slides for demo • Mike is preparing PowerPoint slides, when he gets an email about company training courses for the last quarter of the year. He looks if there are interesting courses in the beginning of December, because that is the only time of the year he has time to participate. He clicks the URL in the email message, and takes a quick look at the available courses. After a couple of minutes, he continues with the slides. • After the weekly meeting, one of Mike’s project members asks something about the company training, and that brings up an informal discussion of courses and schedules. • Just before lunch time, Helen, a colleague, calls Mike’s mobile phone and asks if he is going to a company training course on Requirements analysis on December 12-13. During Helen’s call, he looks at his Outlook calendar and finds a scheduled meeting on Wed 12th. He decides to re-schedule the meeting on the 12th, and will email Helen if he can manage that. • During Helen’s phone call, John (Mike’s boss) comes in and asks if John is going to the STATS conference on Sunday or Monday night. They discuss shortly, and Mike returns to Helen’s call.
