A Life Event Occurs, Prospects become “Aware” that they need to make a purchase Customer Purchase Funnel Prospects begin gathering information that’s Relevant to the purchase decision Prospects Make a decision- ‘Yes’- I will purchase OR ‘No’ I won’t Customer’s are “trained” by everyone’s advertising about what to ask (including): -Brand differences & advantages -Discounts & Promotions -Reviews of products or companies -Guarantees & Shipping & Return policies -Payment/Financing types Prospects begin to look locally This is how Prospects or Potential New Customers Search for Goods or Services That You Supply Local Search sites Like Google Maps/Places/Plus Local are used To address things like: -Address, -Maps, -Phone # -Proximity to their location -Brand familiarity (ex: “Do you guys carry/service this brand”) -”Who should I buy from? (this company or this company here?” ) -”Who stands behind their product/service?” -What Guarantees do I need? -What are the Return Policies etc. Customers then make a purchase Note about Search Engines & Sites etc: As far as Search Engines go, customers use broad based keyword phrases like “How much do braces cost?”, then Narrow their choices locally (example: “Orthodontist Los Angeles” if they get the answers they need. They may check Facebook, Yelp, Google Plus or other niche sites to confirm what Google is telling them etc.
