Mid Day Meal in India

Mid-day meal (MDM) is a healthy newly prepared lunch served to youngsters in government and government-supported schools in India. On 28 November 2001, the Supreme Court of India passed an order expressing, "We direct the State Governments/Union Territories to execute the Mid Day Meal Scheme by giving each youngster in each Government and Government helped Primary School with a readied midday meal." <br><br>MID-DAY MEAL SCHEME AIMS TO: <br><br>maintain a strategic distance from homeroom hunger, increment school enrolment, increment school participation, improve socialization among ranks, address unhealthiness, enable ladies through work . <br>
