Jeffery Whippo Explains that Organizational Structure is Highly Influenced by Strategy Being a successful leadership and coaching consultant, Jeffery Whippo explains the organizational structure of a company. Organization structure is a developed enterprise operated to achieve the given goals. It involves the structure of relationships among positions and jobs with the object of accomplishment of enterprise objectives. Thus, organizational structure is an indispensable means and a wrong one can seriously impair the business performance and can even destroy it. Thus, it needs to be designed so as to make the attainment of the objectives of the business possible. Overall, the organizational structure is the clear definition of authority and lays down both channels and the patterns of communication. Besides, it facilitates proper administration. Jeff Whippo states that if you have an efficient and sound organizational structure, it will help you with well defined patterns of authority that stimulates creative thinking and initiative among members of the organization. He emphasizes that organizational structures emphasize flexibility and the ability to quickly adjust to change. This usually leads to less rigid job descriptions and specialization and encourages individuals throughout the organization to assume responsibility for making important organizational decisions.
