  1. Whitemouth School Kids In Action Group 30 Hour Famine May 20-21 30 Hour Famine Are you up to it?

  2. Whitemouth School • Last meal: Thursday morning breakfast on your own at home • Come to school: Have classes as usual • No solid food: One cup of juice or broth/hour • : Jello is also allowed

  3. After school: Stick around for some fun activities and challenges! • Examples: • gym sports • games with prizes • simulation activities • contests • video games • competitions • videos

  4. Around 11 pm – midnight: sleep or watch videos • Friday morning: Attend classes as usual (still no solid food) • Fridayat noon: Famine ends with a special lunch!

  5. $360 to feed a child for one year! Grand Prize: $50 credit at Whitemouth Canteen (for highest amount raised over $100) 1st Prize: Hex Bug ($10 value) Next highest amount raised-no minimum 2nd Prize: Staple Free Stapler Flag Pen and Highlighter set ($10 value) Next highest amount raised-no minimum

  6. 3rd Prize: Staple Free Stapler Calculator Ruler ($10 value) Next highest amount raised-no minimum 4th Prize: Staple Free Stapler Calculator Ruler ($10 value) Next highest amount raised-no minimum Prizes from World Vision:

Raise $150 and receive a 30 Hour Famine water bottle and a hand-crafted bracelet made as part of a World Vision micro-enterprise project in Nicaragua. • Raise $350 and receive a 30 Hour Famine bag, water bottle and a hand-crafted bracelet made as part of a World Vision micro-enterprise project in Nicaragua.

  8. Pick up your permission slips on your way out • Permission slips due Friday May 7th • Pledge forms given out when you hand in your permission slips

  9. Note: Only students who have raised at least $25 in pledges will be allowed to stay at the school during the evening and over night on Thursday.

  10. Pledge forms due in to Mrs. Van Bergen by Tuesday, May 18th. Please join us! Eatnothing. Do something.
