  1. Dr. Anil Potti Has Made Significant Contributions In The Development Of Several Cancer Programs

  2. Dr. Anil Potti is a Certified Oncologist who received his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (M.B.B.S) in 1995 from the Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, India. A well-known clinician based in the United States, Dr. Potti is known for taking care of patients suffering from cancer and has been a part of a large number of programs in lung, breast and colon cancer.

  3. Over the past few years, Dr. Potti has been a member of the CALGB and was also a member of the scientific executive committee with the National Lung Cancer Partnership.

  4. Some of his selected research papers include Age-and-sex-specific genomic profiles in non-small cell lung cancer, Characterizing the Clinical Relevance of an Embryonic Stem Cell Phenotype in Lung Adenocarcinoma, A genomic approach to colon cancer risk stratification yields biologic insights into therapeutic opportunities, etc.

  5. From 1996-2000, Dr. Anil Potti attended the Department of Internal Medicine at University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine, Fargo, North Dakota, to receive his Residency Training.

  6. He has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Duke University. Besides this, Dr. Potti is an active of several reputed organizations like Alpha-Omega-Alpha (AOA) Honor Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and American Association of Cancer Research (AACR).

  7. Over the years, Dr. Anil Potti has been a thorough and dedicated clinician and Oncologist and has earned numerous accolades. He has been honored with prestigious awards like Joseph Greenfield Mentoring Award, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award – Medical students, Leonard B.

  8. Tow Humanism in Medicine Award, Robert Silber Research Prize, ASCO IDEA Mentor Award, Lisa Stafford Clinical Research Prize and more. In addition to being a renowned medical professional, he has also been able to build a reputation for his contributions in various humanitarian deeds.

  9. With a strong belief in working for the welfare of the weaker sections of the society, Dr. Potti regularly donates his time and money to the local school system and the local church. During free time, he involves himself in volunteering and several outdoor activities.
