  1. Beta Club MeetingMay 3, 2011 Please have a seat at a table. Take down the chairs so that others can see. You can leave them down when you leave. Pass your attendance pages to the back of your table. Leigh Anne T will be signing your attendance during the meeting. Be sure that your name is on the page.

  3. ATTENDANCE SHEETS • IF YOU FORGOT YOUR ATTENDANCE SHEET, SEE LEIGH ANNE TUCK AFTER THE MEETING TO SIGN IN. • YOU’LL HAVE TO BRING YOUR SHEET TO MRS. TARVIN’S ROOM TO GET OFFICIAL ATTENDANCE CREDIT.

  4. RELAY FOR LIFE PERMISSION SLIPS • I NEED THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! • IF YOU HAVE ONE TO TURN IN TODAY, GIVE IT TO JAIME NEWTON OR HANNAH LYONS AFTER THE MEETING. • IF YOU NEED TO PICK ONE UP, THEN JAIME NEWTON AND HANNAH LYONS CAN HELP AFTER THE MEETING.

  5. RELAY FOR LIFE T-SHIRTS • PICK THEM UP FROM JAIME AND HANNAH AFTER THE MEETING. • Be patient! They’ll need to highlight your name and be sure to give you the correct size.

  6. Parking, Map, & Schedule • Cobb County Police will be directing traffic around the event. There are several parking lots, but be prepared to walk if you don’t come early. • Harrison has been given EIGHT campsites! That’s EIGHT TIMES as much space as last year. • I have tents and card tables. Bring your own chairs. • Pick up a map and schedule from Jaime Newton and Hannah Lyons after the meeting.

  7. Relay for Life Rules • NO ANIMALS, WHEELS, ALCOHOL, or TOBACCO • SIGN IN AT OUR TENT • GIVE MRS. TARVIN YOUR CELL NUMBER AT SIGN IN (in case of emergency) • CHECK IN WITH AN ADULT AT THE TENT EVERY TWO HOURS • SIGN OUT AT OUR TENT • ARRANGE FOR ANY RIDES BY 7AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Relay for Life Supplies to Bring • THINK CAMPING… • CAMPING CHAIRS • SLEEPING BAG OR BLANKET • PILLOW • SWEATS AND JACKETS • TOILET PAPER (YEP.) • MONEY FOR FOOD AND DRINK • SNACKS TO SHARE • RAIN JACKET • IPOD OR RADIO TO TUNE INTO MUSIC

  9. Relay for Life Fundraising • KRISPY KREME DONUT SALES: Meet at 7:45 am outside of Admin II. • Earn 1/2 hour of credit. • LAST ONE IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!! • WE HAVE RAISED $4,828 TO DATE. OUR GOAL IS $5,000. SELL THOSE DONUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Relay For Life Service Opportunity • LUMINARIA • White bags with candles to honor cancer survivors or victims • Candles are lit after dark at the Relay to remember the struggles of the honorees • $10 to purchase a Luminaria to remember someone • I NEED ANY OUTSTANDING LUMINARIA BY TOMORROW!

  11. Relay for Life Service Opportunity • SET UP TEAM – • TWO GROUPS: • LEAVING DURING 5TH– DRIVE YOUR CAR TO THE BUSPORT AT 2 PM. MEET IN MRS. TARVIN’S ROOM TO LOAD OUR CARS WITH SUPPLIES. WE’LL CARAVAN TO THE PARK. (Joe L, Brooke W, Olivia R, Mary Kathryn J, Shannon B, Jesse G, Sarah C, Leigh Ann T, Edwyge S) • MEETING AT THE PARK AFTER SCHOOL – MEET US AT THE CAMPSITE AS SOON AS YOU CAN AFTER SCHOOL. TORNADO RELIEF PROJECT HARRISON’S OUTREACH TO YOU IN ALABAMA TORNADO RELIEF PROJECT • Wal-Mart, Target, and Publix gift cards in any amount • Every homeroom is challenged to sponsor 1 $25 gift card. Please give in your homeroom. • Individual gift cards are welcome. You can give them to your homeroom teacher or to Mrs. Tarvin. • May 13 deadline
