  2. About Me My name is Anna Geier and I am from LeMars, IA. I graduated with a class of 34 from Gehlen Catholic High School in 2009. I currently work at Vucurevich Daycare and during the summer I work at Guardian Angel Preschool and Daycare in my hometown. • Favorites: • Color: lime green • Movie: Little Miss Sunshine • Song: “Don’t Stop Believing” • Television Show: Glee • Book: Pride and Prejudice

  4. Professional Goals • Education: • Graduate from USD in May of 2013 • Major: Elementary Education • Early Childhood Endorsement • Minor: Reading • Career: • Become an Elementary teacher • Be a GREAT educator • Make learning fun • Become a positive role model for my students

  5. Where I want to be in 10 years • Teaching in an elementary school in or near Sioux Falls, SD • Be married and have children • Making a difference in the classroom • Travel during the summers • Help coach High School Plays

  6. Past Involvement During my high school years I was involved in many activities. My real passion was speech and drama. I was involved in individual and large group speech as well as play throughout all four years of high school. I also was involved in golf and I was a member of the Christian Leadership Team. At the end of the golf season I made 2nd team all conference in our district.

  7. My Family I have a mother and father: John and Marsha. I am an only child but I have 7 half brothers and sisters from my father’s previous marriage. I love living in LeMars because a lot of my mother’s family lives there so I get to spend a lot of time with them. My cousin Kara had her 4th child, Sophia, in April of 2010 and I love babysitting her!

  8. My Friends Friends are a very important part of my life. I love being with my friends because there never seems to be a dull moment. We always have fun together and laugh like it’s our job.
