I encourage students to email me directly with concerns, questions, (confusion!) to advocate for their learning as adults. Mutual respect, even during times of frustration, is key to a positive relationship. I check my email regularly. When emailing, please include a contact number because chances are that I will call to discuss since I believe dialogue is more productive to tease out a situation that emailing back and forth.
