  11. 1. Vector– Quality of Life for our AF Families – Legislation AFSA’s primary destination is to ensure the highest Quality of Life for our Airmen and families. We do this by working with Congress to seek favorable legislation that supports our Airmen. This is our VECTOR 2. Guidance– Communications Communications is our GUIDANCE. We need to share the AFSA value proposition with all current and potential members. 3. Thrust- Membership We are powered to our destination by our membership. The more members we have the louder our voice! Members are our THRUST! 4. Passengers– Vets/Ret – AFAD/ANG/AFRES/Future Our passengers are Veterans, retirees, family members, all who server today and those who will serve. AFSA is a fraternity and aim to make it stronger! Airmen and families are our MISSION. What Makes AFSA Successful?(An Aircraft Analogy) Air Force Sergeants Association

  12. 75%+ of (non-tech) Air Force movedto the U.S. Army • Absence of a Montgomery G.I. Billor reduced benefits • Reduced tuition assistance • Commissary and BX benefits would be reduced • Health care would be more costly • Basic pay would be a fraction ofwhat it currently is • Allowances would be quite a bitless or non existent • Reimbursement for PCS moves would be less • Hazardous duty pay would bemuch lower or non existent • Dormitory standards would be much poorer • Single Airmen would probably still reside in open bay Life without AFSA andThe Military Coalition Air Force Sergeants Association
