  3. Background • Current version dated May 2005 • Used as a starting point for new construction design / major renovations • Addresses physical infrastructure • Structured cabling systems • Information transport systems

  4. Overview • Sections cover major components: • Telecom Rooms • Backbone Cabling • Horizontal Cabling • Outside Plant • Labeling and documentation • Appendix provide additional detail • Tracked variance requests, industry trends and internal review
