What? • The science fair is a way for you to demonstrate your scientific knowledge. • This year the projects will be judged in categories… with LOTS of subcategories. • Animal Science • Behavioral and Social Sciences • Biochemistry • Cellular and molecular Science • Chemistry • Computer Science • Earth and Planet Science • Engineering: Electrical and Mechanical • Engineering: Materials, Bioengineering • Energy and transportation • Environmental Management • Environmental Sciences • Mathematical Sciences • Medicine and Health Sciences • Microbiology • Physics and Astronomy • Plant Sciences

Why? • Science Fair is a great way to expand your knowledge of the scientific world • You gain valuable critical thinking skills • You have the chance to earn other trips and $cholar$hip$... hear of Mariah Rendeiro? When? • January 8-9, 2014 The Granbury ISD District Science Fair • February 2014 The 62nd Fort Worth Regional Science and Engineering Fair at the new College Park Events Center at The University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas • March or April 2014 The 2013 ExxonMobil Texas Science and Engineering Fair at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas • May 11 - 16, 2014 The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, California.
