  6. Pater - Father • Patriarch: the of the family • Paternal: fatherly

  7. Amphi - Both • Amphibian: can live both on land and in water • Amphitheater: spectators “on both sides” (all around)

  8. Eu - Good • Eulogy: good things to say in honor of someone who’s passed away • Euphemism: a better way to phrase something Ex: “to pass away” instead of “to die”

  25. Endo - Within • Endoskeleton: internal skeleton (humans vs. lobsters) • Endothermic: a chemical process that absorbs heat within an object

  26. Mega - Large • Megaphone: a large object that amplifies sound • Megahertz: a large amount of hertz ( measures radio transmission frequency)

  27. Pop - People • Population: a group of people • Popular: liked by people

  28. Sangui - Blood • Sanguine: a blood-red color • Sanguinary: causing much bloodshed
