  2. Agenda for Today’s Meeting • Update on the closure and resource development • Review of survey results • Discussion of county updates on priority area plans • Update on family interviews • Wrap-up

Consumer/Family Satisfaction Team (CFST) Surveys • People are interviewed every six months after they are discharged from Mayview. • We first reviewed interview data in August 08. • We identified three priority areas for counties/Steering Committee: • Social life, community integration, family involvement • Work and education • Physical health/coordination with mental health

  11. Are you interested in participating in other spiritual activities? • Allegheny: 19% (19 people) said yes (Bible study, attending church, other activities) • Beaver: 25% (4 people) said yes (Bible study, attending church, other activities) • Washington: No one answered yes

If NOT currently working, would you like to work? • Allegheny: 44% (44 people) answered yes • Of these 44 people,66% felt they were ready to work • Beaver: 13% (2 people) answered yes • Both people felt they were ready to work • Washington: 42% (5 people) answered yes • 80% (4 people) felt they were ready to work

Or training activities? • Allegheny: 23% (23 people) are involved in educational activities, 17% (17 people) are involved in training • Beaver: 13% (3 people) are involved in educational activities, 6% (1 person) is involved in training • Washington: 25% (3 people) are involved in educational activities, 33% (4 people) are involved in training • Most opportunities were in group sessions offered at residences or treatment providers

Are you interested in furthering your education? • Allegheny: 36% (36 people) answered yes, 13% (13 people) were unsure • Beaver: 31% (5 people) answered yes • Washington: 42% (5 people) answered yes • Across counties, people were interested in similar activities: GED, training in a trade, college, computer skills, and tutoring in basic skills (like reading and math)
