  8. 3. Aschotanam • Means application of a liquid form of medicine as drops into the eyes. • It is very helpful in treating some eye diseases.

  9. 4. Nasyam • It is the nasal treatment of medications. • It is a very powerful therapy for all systemic disorders especially those related to the head and neck.

  10. 5. Virechanam • It is a purificatory method used in eliminating the vitiated humour in more quantity with less stress. • It is very much effective in Skin disorders, Hemiplegia, Jaundice, Bronchial asthma and various eye disorders.

  13. 8. Shirovasthi • It is a procedure of retaining warm medicated oil in a cap-like structure fitted on the head. • Normally this procedure will be done for at least 35-50 min for 7 days maximum. • This is considered as one of the furthermost treatment for the head.
