  6. Characteristics of effective/ inclusion VISION • Moral core purpose • Consistent messages of core belief • Reflect and question vision – how effective is it?

  7. Commitment • systems supporting a vision • collective responsibility • strategic view

  8. Collaboration • school has a collaborative environment • parents fully included • strong links with other schools • multi–agency collaboration

  9. Communication • early intervention • constant dialogue • the listening headteacher

  10. So What? • Can be a vehicle to drive belief • Can be used beyond SEND children • Proving to be major impact on child progress • Shared responsibility can be achieved • Raised aspiration and Impact beyond the classroom can be made • Opportunity for All to achieve, child, parent, teacher, leader. Specific human right!
