  2. そもそも病名の付け方はいい加減?! • 国によって人名の付く疾患の「人名」が違う!! Basedow病(独) ｖｓ.Graves病（英） Swyer-James synd. vs. Mcleod synd. • 原因解明すれば病名は変わる. Kartagener synd. vs. primary ciliary dyskinesia • 国名でさえいい加減！ 　　　「日本」：Nippon-Nihon-Japan(ジッポン)

  3. 人名の付く疾患はどうして存在する？ • 自分の名を後世に残したい! • 最初に報告した医師に対する敬意 • 「・・症候群」vs.「・・病」 　　症候群とは、原因不明ながら共通の病態を示す患者が多い場合に、そのような症状の集まりにとりあえず名をつけ、扱いやすくしたものである。人名を冠した症候群の名前も数多く、原因が判明した場合にその名前が変更することもある。 • 一方で原因判明後も長い間そのまま慣用的に使われている「症候群」は多く、逆に「～病」の名を冠する原因不明の疾患も多くあり、実際には明確な区別がなされていないことが多い。 川崎病 vｓ.AIDS
