  2. Purpose • We have performed “UNIVERSE Liveshow” Intersteller flythrough ( HippLiner ) Gravitational lens effect Simulator

  3. Motivation • Needs to think further questions • How are rays bended near the blackhole? (Gravitational lens effect Simulator) • Are there extra solar planets in destination? (HippLiner) Develop the new add-on programs.

  4. Raytrace Simulator • Purpose • Add-on for “Gravitational lens simulator” • Visualize ray trails near blackhole • Method • Solve the geodesic equation for photon in the Schwardzshild metric

  5. Exoplanet Simulator –Wakusei guruguru- • Purpose • Add-on for Interstellar spaceship simulator “HippLiner”. • Show the exoplanet system selected from “HippLiner”. • Feature • 155 171 exoplanet systems avaliable. (Current) • Semi-automatic update of exoplanet systems catalog from online database The extra solar planets encyropedia http://exoplanet.eu/.

Exsoplanet Simulator –Wakusei guruguru- • Contains programable • Scripting engine • --Lua language-- • Very high flexibility • Exoplanet catalog itself is described in Lua . • User can add arbitary functions. UserInterface Guruguru-Engine Rendering Calculating orbits etc… Lua-interpreter Scripting Engine OpenGL/GLUT Updating of exoplanet system catalog: Lua Catalogs Converter & Generator CSV File 51Peg.lua Glese876.lua HD177830.lua etc… Perl script http://exoplanet.eu/

  7. Conclusion • We devloped a raytrace simulator based on General Relativity for “UNIVERSE Liveshow” . It is very instructive to show ray trails near a blackhole. • We developed an extra solar system simulator. It is very effective to imagine a travel to exoplanets with Interstellar spaceship simulator “HippLiner” .
