  4. Page 44 #1 • Compare and Contrast: • Autotrophs and Heterotrophs • Page 41: autotroph is in the text in yellow • And so is heterotroph

  5. Hey Noisy Friends! • The Bookwork is due TODAY. • If you are impatient with this large- class noisy interference (I am), then just do the bookwork on your own. • PS The DATA TABLE PACKET (It was bright green) is also due today.

  7. P44 #3 • Classify a pet dog as an autotroph or heterotroph and as an herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore. Explain. • A dog is a heterotroph; it is not a plant. • A dog is an omnivore; Although I know dogs eat meat, I have also seen my dog eat french fries.

P44 #4 • Evaluate the impact on living organisms if the Sun began to produce less energy and then finally burned out. • The “right” answer: plants would die, herbivores would starve, then omnivores and carnivores would starve to death. • Mrs. Gall says- if the sun “burns out” there are serious issues and we might die faster than we would if the plants all died.
