  2. FunJanuary Activities for Toddlers in London Go Ape Battersea Don’t know how to convince the kids to give up their new iPads and video games that Santa gave them for Christmas? We have the perfect solution. At Go Ape Battersea the fun is guaranteed for the whole gang. The entertainment centre is located in the heart of London, and it packs zip wires, treetop walkways, and rope bridges that will get you back in shape in no time. Your kids won’t be able to say no to harnessing their inner chimp and climbing as high as possible. The Tree Top Adventure is a must-try. Suitable for adults and kids over 10, the venue is open daily starting January 3. Just make sure to dress appropriate, and let the adventure begin!.

  3. Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park If you haven’t had the chance to visit Hyde Park this winter, there’s still time. With over 100 amazing attractions, the winter festival packs an array of fun activities for families and kids even in January. Just because Christmas is over, it doesn’t mean winter is over too. The ice skating rink is a top attraction that everyone loves. It’s also a great opportunity to exercise some more, and have fun with kids. Next, head to the Magical Ice Kingdom where the ice castle, ice forest and sculptures will make you feel like in the Frozen movie. On site, there’s a giant Ferris wheel you can’t overlook. Unlike most attractions in London that are closed on January 1st, Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park is open for its avid adventurers ready to start 2017 in style.

  4. Hogwarts in the Snow Located at the Warner Bros. Studio in London, Hogwarts in the Snow is a magical event you can’t miss out this January. We’re pretty sure your kids are Harry Potter fans, so why not take them on a behind-the-scenes Harry Potter tour? It is an amazing opportunity for toddlers to explore the films on the inside. Visitors will be taken to see the beautiful sets, the props and costumes. The tour also reveals some guarded secrets, including information on animatronics and special effects. Step inside the Great Hall and uncover its mystic treasures; explore Dumbledore’s office and go on a treasure hunt to find out more about Harry’s world. The Hogwarts in the Snow tour can be attended until January 29.

  5. Magical Lantern Festival This January, the Magical Lantern Festival returns with even bigger events and shows for its attendees. In 2017, it celebrates its second year in London and it will be held at Chiswick House & Gardens. The festival is a fabulous fusion on culture, art and heritage, and it will begin on January 19. The main purpose is to celebrate the Chinese New Year and it will include lots of illuminating décor and fun activities for both adults and kids. This year, the theme is “Explore Silk Road”, and visitors will stumble upon the biggest lanterns they’ve seen in their life. Since the Magical Lantern Festival is a cultural event, expect to see lanterns representing Central Asia, Egypt, Persia, Europe, India, Arabia, and Ancient China. That’s not all. On site, there will be lots of food vendors, 3D photo opportunities, a synthetic ice-rink, lots of games, a mini funfair, and virtual reality gaming experience for the kids.
