Factors of Homelessness • Homeless people aren’t homeless because they are lazy • Some people are incapable of working due to not having documents • Mental disability prevents homeless people from getting jobs • Physical disabilities like being paralyzed or being an amputee restricts homeless people from working • Veterans are an example of people who cannot get a job due to mental and physical disabilities

How Music Incorporates Rap and Hip Hop Bring Awareness to this issue • Hip hop is a form of popular music composed of two crucial elements • That being emceeing and deejaying • But the four elements that make hip hop what it stands for emceeing, deejaying, breakdancing, and grafitti • Rap is a form of music that is embedded with the hip hop culture • Where hip hop is a way and a lifestyle

How Hip Hop Benefited • On any night, 750,000 men, women, and children are homeless in the U.S • Public Enemy, a very known group in the field of hip hop raised more 25,000 dollars • The money was given to the Sascha Bruce house. A non profit organization to keep the youth and their families off the streets
