Nitrogen is found in nucleic acids, and amino acids Inorganic molecules (molecules without carbon) are essential but found in smaller percentages.

  9. The water molecule is a polar molecule meaning it has unevenly distributed electrical charges. A weak bond can form between the negative charge of one water molecule and the positive charge of the other, creating a hydrogen bond. Hydrogen bonds between water molecules hold them together in a network resulting in a phenomenon known as cohesion.
