It also has four underlying principles, which are: o The creation of Value for Money for the citizens of North Tyneside o The creation of high quality services o Increasing the levels of citizen happiness o Closing the gap between the poorest communities and the best These are embedded in the council plan through the Elected Mayors pledges.
