Basic kNOws of Essay Writing • Never Write in 1st person (I, We, You, Us) • Never say “and more,” “and others,” or “etc.”If you can say that, you have more to explain! • NO rhetorical questions!! • “I will write about” or “This essay will” • No HOOKS!! These people are British and have never heard of FCAT
