Accreditation Process • Align DL curriculum with residence program • Develop 2 year curriculum for Aug 01 implementation • Develop personnel policies for continuity of experience • Seek Degree Granting authority for DL program • Seek accreditation of DL program • Continue to study outsourcing possibilities

Accreditation Requirements • Must meet same requirements as residence course plus requirements in following sections of SACS “Criteria for Accreditation” • Section 4.5: Formulate clear and explicit goals and demonstrate they are consistent with institutions stated purpose. Must demonstrate program achieves these goals, are effective and comply with all applicable “Criteria”. • Section 4.8.2.4: Program must meet all “Criteria” related to faculty and must provide students with structured access to and interaction with full-time faculty members. • Section 5.1.7: Ensure the provision of and ready access to adequate library/learning resources.
