  4. “Champagne and Accordions”pg. 353 • We are going to focus on rhetoric as we continue reading this novel. • Today, as I read this section aloud, I am going to model taking notes on the author’s portrayal of Hans Hubermann. • This will incorporate some of our discussions of characterization.
