Gasping: to make a noise by suddenly breathing in because you are shocked or surprised. Collapse: to fall down.   4. What is hands-only CPR? Hands-only CPR is a potentially lifesaving technique involving chest compression no mouth to mouth contact. • It is best used in emergencies where someone has seen another person suddenly collapse.
