  4. BS in engineering and management from Clarkson University New York State's highest rank small research institution Getting the Degree • Earned a Physics BA from SUNY Geneseo • physics majors learn strong quantitative and analytical skills

Working at ITT • Teresa worked at ITT for research and development for 15 years • Her favorite part of the job was constantly learning new things • She received a patent that was for a product that allows non-metallic bearings to operate in fluids that contained solids • This allowed clean fluid to flush away the solids during operation of the purification process of water • ITT Video

  7. Advice to Us • For physicists and engineers, get a business minor • Get to know your college professors • Being strong in math and science helps for all types of career choices • Get the best education for the least amount of money; student loans kill • BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
