  2. Extraordinary very unusual; extremely good or impressive; going above and beyond what is expected.

  3. Perseverance continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition

  4. Cleft Palate A split in the roofof the mouth that some people are born with.

  5. Anomaly something that is unusual or unexpected : something that is different from the normal.

  6. Hysterical a state in which your emotions (such as fear) are so strongthat you behave in an uncontrolled way

  7. Dueling a fight between two people that includes the use of weapons(such as guns or swords) and that usually happens while other people watch

  8. Slaughter the act of killing; specifically: the butcheringof livestock for market or people in a battle. Sometimes used in hyperbole. Ex: “The football team slaughtered their rival...the score was 45-0!”

  9. Admission The act of admitting, accepting, or allowing something.

  10. Hindsight the knowledge and understanding that you have about an event only after it has happened.

  11. Incubator a piece of equipment in which very weak or sick babiesare placed for special care and protection after their birth. Sometimes used for bird’s eggs to keep them warm before hatching.

  12. Obnoxious Unpleasant in a way that makes people feel offended, annoyed, or disgusted.

  13. Sarcastically the use of words that mean the oppositeof what you really want to say especially in order to insult someone, to show irritation, or to be funny

  14. Schlep To carry or pull (something) with difficulty: to drag or haul (something)

  15. Apprentice A person who learns a job or skillby working for a fixed period of time for someone who is very good at that job or skill.

  16. Precept A rule that says how people should behave.
