  3. 2 hour OGTT • If FBS on 2 hr OGTT is (+) for DM, but 2 hour result is normal, OK to confirm diagnosis with a 2nd FBS • If lab policy prohibits administering 75 gm glucose for FBS  140, consider developing agreement w/ Lab to administer glucose for GRANT PARTICIPANTS ONLY to allow these individuals to receive solution at a higher cut off point
