  2. The radio access network for B3G may be various,but some common characters should be contained : Adapting to kinds of multiple accesses (e.g. IMT-2000, Wi-Fi and WiMAX). Superior wireless coverage and capacity Flexible application for all kinds of radio environment Agile configuration and adjustable structure by software can meet various services, which makes the heavy network planning easier. Resource management is more convenient. Introduction

  3. Architecture of mobile wireless network In this mobile wireless network, radio access network mean the traditional cellular mobile wireless network or distributed mobile wireless network .

  4. Traditional cellular network mobile wireless and distributed mobile wireless network have been concerned as main radio access technique of B3G system recently. These two kinds of technique have their advantages for response to different environment. According to the requirement of recommendation ITU-R M.1035,radio environment can be divided into macro,micro and pico cells. Based on this definition,several kinds of application about radio access network for B3G is described as follows Abstract

Mainly refers to Rural Largely coverage,1000m<r<35km Less building and less shading Easy to install antenna on higher point to meet coverage The number of UE is fewer Single UE’s throughput is various, voice,internet, IP TV,remote medical,remote teaching, ect.. Traditional cellular + beam forming is better Radio access network for macro cell

  7. Mainly refers to Sub-Urban or Urban Geography and radio environment is complex Building shading is severe It is difficult to choose higher point to install antenna for meeting all coverage . Connecting fiber or coaxial line is relatively easy. Distributed radio access network +antenna selecting is better Radio access network for micro cell

  9. Here the general pico cell refers to public inhabit community,hotel,business area,etc. The number of UR is more. The total throughput is more, but varying lower. Laying fiber or coaxial line is relatively easy. The UE’s requirement for QoS is not high Distributed radio access network +antenna selecting is better Radio access network for pico cell (general)

  11. Here the hot spot main refers to meeting room,commercial entertainment location, gymnasium, etc Most of it focus on indoor site, connecting with fiber or coaxial line is easy.
