This is what she has to say: Shop With Intent: Before you hit an online store, ensure you are shopping with intent and not shopping carelessly. Your minimalist approach must start prior shopping. Try to imagine your present wardrobe and all its content and mentally create as any outfits as you can with your new, shiny, desired products. “Choose lesser pieces of greater quality,” says the fashion designer. If you are constructing a new closet, start with season-less items – items that are versatile and timeless.

  3. Opt For Natural Fabrics: When shopping, always search for natural textiles - 100% silk, cotton, wool, linen, leather and cashmere. The feel of these garments will always be more luxurious, while lasting a lot longer than man-made textiles. With less clutter in your closet, it’s time you spent a little extra cash on garments that are worth it. Add Interest To Your Apparel: Add interest to your outfits by playing with form and proportion – wear a basic tshirt with an asymmetric skirt to add a contemporary flare to your outfit. An upside to basics is that they are easy to layer – fancy it up by playing with different fabrics and textures. I’m sure everyone has noticed the Kendall Jenner “silk dress and white cotton tshirt” look.
