  2. Bespoke, MTM and RTW Driven by a combination of internet communication, creative menswear companies, and enthusiasts the comeback of menswear in recent years has meant that has never had so many options irrespective of the fact whether he is looking to buy an entire wardrobe or a single suit.

  3. What is made to measure (MTM)? With the benefit of an altered fit, the made to measure suits like ready to wear. You visit the store, but a few choices and measurements in style and cloth is taken by the salesman instead of you taking a suit of your choice away that day. The measurement and the choice are then sent to a factory and you get a suit as per your personal dimensions after some days.

  4. What is ready to wear (RTW)? In a style and cut assumed by the designer, RTW suit is bought off the rack. In the 1950s the development of the RTW suit was pioneered. This is when different sizes for mass production were segmented from the male form by the manufacturers. Now the vast majority of the world’s suits made this way.

  5. What is bespoke? As regular readers, you must be wondering how to have “bespoke suits near me?” Creating a suit from the ground up is involved in the bespoke suit. Made by two or three tailors, it is usually handmade and can take any material, any shape, any form.

  6. With an initial discussion involving your personal needs, the process begins. With detailed notes of your body shape and your posture, the tailor then takes your measurements. Using his notes and measurements as a guide a set of bespoke paper patterns is then drawn and cut with the cutter. Over the course of several fittings, the fit is refined to the final product after the cloth you’ve chosen is cut using these patterns.
