  3. Coming from North West along Heathcote Rd Coming from the North down the Highway Past McDonalds If coming by car, it’s best to turn off the highway at McDonalds and go along Wilson Parade so that you can park in the EASTERN car park. Park at Heathcote station

  4. What to Wear • Appropriate walking shoes • It’s good track, don’t need boots, trainers fine • Your swimmers!!! • Essential if weather even half good. • Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat Beyonce would not be suitably dressed

  5. What to Bring • Your lunch • Possibly sandwiches, etc BUT…. • If no-one else is around we can make a fireplace at the lake… • Water (about 2 litres) • Something for us to share • eg, emergency chocolate  • Camera! • Bird-watching books, wildflower and geological guides are optional 

  6. Our Route! Pool is at the ‘g’ of Kangaroo. We walk out down Karloo Spur and return along the creek and then up Karloo track
