Tampa Bay Area Emergency Rooms • MacDill AFB does not provide emergency room services or any in-patient care • There are many Hospitals in the Bay area – • Tampa General Hospital and Memorial Hospital are the closest • Life Threatening Emergencies – Proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room. Prior authorization is not required and all are approved for emergency care • Notify your supervisor or the USSOCOM Command Post as soon as possible. 813-826-5300 • Contact the clinic directly after treatment/discharge • If you are driving to the emergency room, it probably isn’t life-threatening. Consider an Urgent care center
