COMMITTEE CWORKING GROUP ON SUSTAINABLE QUALITY TOURISMTerms of reference – Gera 2003 Activities: • Organise seminar on sustainable quality tourism (Devon, March 2004 and Jämtland, March 2005) and 2 meetings of the working group per year • Produce relevant documents and promote the AER’s positions at national, European and international level • Collect good regional practices and create a permanent exhibition on the AER of sustainable rural development • Set up a network of regional and university experts and other relevant experts (NGO’s, economic sector, etc.) • Etc.

The web portal projectMain objectives The main objectives of the web portal project: • To promote efficient strategies • To lobby for achieving a full bottom-up approach to tourism policy • To promote sharing of experiences, transfer of competencies and development of new approaches • To support co-operation between the regions of the AER
